Mangaluru: Police have arrested 420 accused in the case who have been absconding for the past 17 years.

The accused has been identified as Jason Peter D’Souza (42), a resident of Meramajalu Pakkala padr in Bantwal. The arrested accused had not appeared in the court and was absconding without being found by the police.

The court had issued a warrant as a case of LPC (long pending case). Officials and staff of north police station under the guidance of ACP Mahesh Kumar conducted an operation and arrested them. Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain appreciated the efforts of the police.
