Mangalore : Mangalores first ARMC IVF test tube baby and 4D Scanning Centre was inaugurated on June 1, Saturday at Falnir by Dr N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University.
In his address,Vinay Hegde said the ARMC IVF centre has been playing a yeoman role in bringing happiness in many issueless families by helping them beget children with the right treatment. Such centres which are a boon to issueless couples should be opened at various places, he said.
Lakshmi Kumar, DGM-Corporate Communication, MRPL, was the chief guest.Dr P Saroja, District Medical Officer, Mohammad Ameen, Chairman of KCCI, MB Sadashiva, Lions District Governor, Dr Ismail N, Secretary of Mahatma Gandhi Peace Foundation. Haji Mohammad Arabi Kumble, Director of MAK Builders Dr B Devadas Pai, District Rotary Governor, Shahanaz M, Editor of Anupama magazine and several others were present on the occasion.

In addition to complete infertility evaluation, Asian Reproductive Medical Centre (ARMC) provides a wide range of treatment options including Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) programmes, as well as 3D AND 4D scanning facility, informed Dr KU Kunhi Moideen, Director of the Centre.
