Mangaluru: The Mangalore University has announced that the UG and PG exams scheduled for August 14 and August 20 have been postponed. The decision comes in the wake of the weekend curfew imposed in the Dakshina Kannada district to prevent the spread of Covid- 19.

The statement said that the exam during the weekend curfew would pose difficulty for travelling among students. Further, holding exams will dilute the weekend curfew too and thus pose public inconvenience too, the release observed.

“The revised time table will be sent to all institutions through mail. On August 12 Thursday, it will also be published on the website,” stated Prof. P. L Dhrama, Registrar of Mangaluru University in a press release.
