Mangalore : Agitating over the disgraceful incident of kidnapping and blackmailing case at Deralakatte, the Mangalore South BJP unit organized a protest in front of DC office on Monday December 30.


Addressing the protestors, Shrikar Prabhu, a member of BJP alleged that the Congress had always remained quite with regard to such issues and added there has been spurt in crime owing to this.While all the other organizations are protesting, the Congress has paid no heed to such a barbaric incident, he added.
“The Congress government has declared to invoke Goonda Act against Hindu organization youths who work towards protecting the culture of this country, but it is a sad fact that they have yet not been able to curtail the communal and fundamentalist activities”, he added.
MLC Monappa Bhandary and Ravishankar Mijar President of Mangalore South BJP also addressed the gathering and expressed concern over the developments.
Former MLA Yogish Bhat, Capt Brijesh, Sandesh Katyani of BJP Mahila Morcha and several others were present.
