Moodbidri : The police arrested person who was engaged in supplying ganja to students on July 26.
The arrested is identified as Momahhed alias Barboza (61).He basically hails from Kerala. He had settled in Matradi and had purchased a land here and had a rubber plantation.
It is learnt that he used to get Ganja from his native Kerala and supply it here.
It was only after complaint filed by an educational institution, the police tracked him and have seized 12 ganja packets. He has been now sent to judicial custody for 15 days as per the court order.
