Mangaluru: An accident at AB Shetty circle claimed the life of a man, here on Monday February 15.

The deceased has been identified as Umar Farooq (26), a resident of Krishnapura. Umar was an employee at Ekart Logistics.

According to the sources, Umar was traveling on his bike towards Hampankatta when a ten-wheel truck hit him. The crash was such that the heavy vehicle went over him causing death on spot.

Kadri east traffic police have registered a case.
