Kasargod: Vidyanagar police, who intercepted a lorry on suspicion, have managed to seize 77.5 kg of ganja on June 18, Tuesday. The three men in the lorry including the driver however, took to their heels as soon as they sensed danger.
Among other things police have also seized Rs 25000 in cash, a mobile and ATM card from the lorry. It is suspected that the ganja was being smuggled from Badiadka.
The accused who have fled have been identified as Gangadhar, Abdul Rahiman and Abdul Salam.
Vidyanagar police have registered a case and are on the look-out for the accused.
