Madarasa teacher arrested six years after wife’s murder

Kumble: Police have arrested a Madarasa teacher and his  mother from a quarters at Mogral,  almost six years after the former allegedly  killed his wife, chopped her body parts and then dumped it at various places. The arrests were made on February 4, Tuesday night.


The arrested persons are Abdul Khader (31), son of Mammukutti of Maravoor Cheruturutti Motterikunhu in Trissur district and his mother  Nabisa.  It is learnt, the accused Khader had  in the year 2007   killed his wife Maimuna  at their Motterikunhu residence with the help of his father Mammukutti(55) and mother Nabisa(50). He  had then chopped her body into pieces and thrown the parts in various places. After the crime,  the mother and son along with the latter’s three month old child had fled the place. Later, he began working as a teacher in a Madarasa at Erdum Kadavu  Ujangodu in Kasargod.

His father Mammukutti has already  been sentenced to death in the city. However, he has moved the court  challenging the judgement.
