Bantwal : Siddique Kasargod, the Congress candidate from Kasargod Parliamentary constituency has urged the voters to support the Congress if they want justice, dharma and ethics to prevail in the society. He said the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was a war between Dharma and Adharma and ethical and unethical practices.

Addressing a huge Congress convention at Poonja Maidan in BC Road Kaikamba on Monday April 14, he sought public support for DK Congress candidate B Janardhan Poojary.

Launching a tirade against the BJP and the SDPI, Siddique said if the BJP embraced  corrupt people, the Congress has pushed behind bars those facing corruption charges. The SDPI and BJP are two sides of a single coin, he said and added both parties cannot protect the interest of minorities.

He further accused the SDPI of backing Narendra Modi just to keep the Congress at bay.

DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai, Congress Spokesperson Harikrishna Bantwal, Kerala Congress leader Harris, Congress Observor Shahul Hameed and others spoke on the occasion.
