Mangalore: In a shocking incident, parts of a lizard were found in the afternoon meal severed to a patient at the city’s Wenlock Hospital on Friday March 21.

Sources said that the parts of lizard in the food was found by a patient from Ward no. 24 that caused panic among rest of the patients however many people have already had their meal.

It is learnt that Sarasamma, the patient’s mother did not notice the lizard initially, it is only on having the second bite she realized the reptile in the sambhar.

On the other hand the Supervisor on Wenlock hospital Rajeshwari Devi said that this is a rumor and these are random allegation made to defame the hospital still we have the food to the lab for forensic examination, she confirmed.

Further investigation is on.
