Newskarnataka – Karkala
Karkala: A leopard which came in search of food and accidentally fell into a well, has been rescued by the forest department staff of Karkala on Thursday May 1 at Andaru Turkaragudde near Ajekar. The leopard was later released in the forest area.
It is learnt, the leopard fell into a well which is being constructed at Andaru by the local gram panchayat and was in the finishing stages.
Range Forest Officer Subrahmanya Bhat, AD Ponnappa, Narasimha Nayak, P Ananda and other forest staff were part of the rescue operation.
