Kasargod :A Final year engineering student of KVG college Sullia died in a tipper-bike accident at Kasargod on Monday May 19.

According to the police the victim has been identified as Varadraj Iyer (23) resident of Ernakulam in Kerala.

The mishap occured on Monday,  when Varadraj along with his friend Karthik Ramesh, were proceeeding towads their hometown Kasrgod from Sullia.

According to sources,  a tipper-laden lorry, which was on the wrong side at Bovikanna-Hiriyanni junction rammed into their bike. Varadraj died on the spot and Ramesh who sustained severe head injuries was admitted to a Private hospital for treatment in Mangalore.

Varadraj was a Final year mechanical engineering student of KVG college Sullia.

Addor police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
