Bangalore: CM Siddaramaiah is not able to function as per the expectations of the people, owing to the conflict with Congress by the long serving Congressmen and migrants into the party, criticized opposition party leader H D Kumaraswamy.
Addressing the media persons here on Wednesday July 3, during a discussion meet, Kumaraswamy said that in spite Congress formed state government on its own strength amidst internal conflict, it has come forward to form a co-ordinating Committee that will devise plans to form coalition government for the first time in the country. CM Siddaramaiah heeding to the pressures of excise lobby, announced to introduce arrack once again in Karnataka. Re 1 per kilograms of rice scheme has not been implemented. He backed off from introducing arrack amidst the opposition from people. He seems to have said to grant licenses to jobless graduates in opening wine stores, bar and restaurants and washed off his hands saying it was media overtures. The milk distribution to students up to Class X was shelved to up till Class V. It shows lack of co-ordination among them, alleged Kumaraswamy.
Kumaraswamy urged for a probe related to admissions based on COMED – K results in different colleges, suspecting huge scam.
