Kasargod : A youth hailing from Uduma in  Kasargod  was brutally killed by unidentified assailants at Rashidiya in Dubai on December 6, Friday morning.

The deceased is Haneef (32) of Uduma Kaapil. He worked  in the restaurant owned by a Kannur man in Dubai. It is learnt, Haneef had stayed back in the restaurant while other workers had left for their respective homes. A group of three assailants who  barged into the restaurant, dragged  Haneef out, brutally killed him and then fled with a cash of Rs 10 lakhs, telephone cards and several passports.

CCTV footage has provided vital clues regarding the killers and investigations are underway. Haneef was working in the restaurant since the  past one and a half years.
