Mangalore: The foundation stone laying ceremony of the quarters of District and Sessions Judge, and Judicial officers quarters A block and Judicial officers quarters B block was held at Hat Hill on Saturday June 21.Honourable Dr Justice K Bhakthavatsala laid the foundation stone.











After doing the honors, Justice K Bhakthavatsala said that the construction work will begin very soon once monsoon ends.
He informed that the project is estimated to cost Rs 135 lacs. The project involves construction of building measuring 4,000 square feet and will be completed within one year. Judicial officers quarters A block with 12 flats is estimated to cost Rs 8.20 lacs, Judicial officers quarters B block with 15 flats will cost around Rs 10 lacs, he informed.
Minister for Forest and Environment Ramanath Rai, MLA J R Lobo, corporator Shashidhar Hegde, District and Sessions Judge Uma M G, PWD Executive Engineer Gopal Nayak and others were present while laying the foundation stone.
Corporator Praveen Chandra Alva, Ashok Ariga, Vittal Raj, Lavanya and others were also present.
