Kundapur :  A tragic road  accident at Vakwady near Kundapur on October 29, Tuesday has  claimed the life of a  journalist.

The deceased has been identified as  Vishnu Shettigar Vakwady(29). He worked for ‘Abhimatha’ a local daily and   hailed from Hoovinakere.

The mishap took place when he was on way home.A private bus operating on the Kundapur-Belur  route hit his two-wheeler killing him on the spot. Vishnu has left behind his parents and a sister.

A case has been registered by Kundapur traffic police.
