Mangalore: The district president of JD(S) M B Sadashiva held a press conference jointly along JD(S) and the SDPI at Janata Deluxe hall on Monday April 8. The JD(S) recently joined into alliance with the SDPI and declared their support.

He stated that as per the directions of the high command an unconditional support will be given to Haneef . Adding to the details he said that the decision was taken with the aim o defeat UPA that has been sinking in scams and allegations, failing to fulfill the aspirations of the citizens of the nation.

Addressing the media persons on Monday, JD(S) district president M B Sadashiva said that SDPI candidate Haneef Khan has been getting immense support from the citizens around the district. People of the district are desperate, searching for an alternative, Haneef stands to be correct option.

Disapproving the allegations of SDPI being communal Sadashiva said that it’s a false notion, and in-turn stated that we are all set to give tough days ahead for the communal force BJP that chants divisive politics to come to power,” he said.

Moreover he also said that the JD(S) and SDPI are fighting for the same cause that is to get rid of BJP as well as congress. The ruling and the opposition has done no good for the society and the general public needs a third front party to form a government, he asserted.

DSS district convenor Koosappa, Former minister Amarnath Shetty, SDPI district president Abbobakker also extended their support to the candidature.
