JDS begins campaigning for M’luru LS coalition candidate Mithun Rai

Mangaluru: The door-to-door campaigning for the Congress and Janata Dal (S) coalition candidate from Mangaluru South Lok Sabha constituency, Mithun Rai, began here on Thursday, April 4.

The campaigning was flagged off by the JDS Mangaluru South Assembly constituency President Vasanth Poojary.

The campaigning began from the JDS office and reached Kudkori Gudde, Kankanady where the party workers handed over the manifesto to the residents and informed them about the developmental works carried out by the state coalition government.

Meanwhile, people where seen criticising the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government and MPs. They said that the Modi cabinet MPs had failed to implement any developmental projects and opposed the delayed construction of the Pumpwell flyover.

During the campaigning, JDS District Secretary Ram Ganesh, Spokesperson Sushil Noronha, Youth Wing General Secretary Madhusudan Gowda, Backward Classes President N P Pushparajan, Women’s Wing President Sumathi Hegde and others were present.
