Mangaluru: Mr. Jayaram Bhat, managing director Karnataka Bank and Mr. Manohar Prasad, chief of news bureau of Udayavani Kannada Daily will be felicitated with the prestigious state-level Rotary annual “Vandana Award” for the year 2017, in recognition of their invaluable contributions in the field of banking and journalism respectively at a function to be held in the city on March 24.

The award, jointly instituted by Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and Rotaract Club of Mangalore City, comprises of a citation, plaque and memento.

Member of the Parliament, Sri. Nalin Kumar Kateel will grace the occasion as Chief guest and Mangaluru City Corporation Mayor Mrs. Kavitha Sanil will be the guest of honour.

President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Central Rtn. Anil Gonsalves will preside over the function. Rotary District Zonal Lieutenant Rtn. Elaias Sanctis, District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Miss. Hitaishi. President of Rotaract Club of Mangalore City Rtr.Yathish Salian will also be present on the occasion.
