Mangalore: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will be celebrating Sri Krishna Janmashtami at the TMA Pai International Convention Hall in Mangalore on August 28.
Speaking to press persons here on August 23, Friday, Nama Nishtadas of Hare Krishna Temple said the programmes will begin at 6 pm with a Tulasi Pooja and will continue till midnight. The programmes will conclude with Mahamangalarathi.
Over 5000 devotees are expected to take part, he informed. Various programmes like bhajans and religious discourses will also be held as part of the celebrations, he said.
The Hare Krishna Temple will also be conducting a free workshop on ‘Vedic Science’ at the Temple Premises near Kadri Toll Gate on September 1, he said. Details regarding the workshop can be had by contacting the following telephone number – 0824-2225793.
