Mangaluru: Accusing BJP of betraying people of the country, MLC Ivan Dsouza said they are in power after series of false promises. Black money was thier key issue but neither they could bring the black money or is there any news about it. Even the recent land ordinance is a failure.

They promised to be pro poor but now they have made a new ordinance which doesnot seek any permission from the farmer to acquire thier land.

He was speaking at a press meet held at his office premises. On the occasion he also gave a summary of series of questions and issues raised by him at the assembly.

The issues like Kasturirangan report, mining land to Kudremukh iron ore company, Adhar card issue, Ullal assault on students who were on educational tour.

While lambasting BJP government he said Padayathre will be held oppsong recent land aquisition ordinance on April 18.

He also commented on demerits of Jan dhan yojana. The grants from central government also has been reduced upto 35% so the state BJP leaders must act to get more grants for the development of state.

Issue regarding to cashew farming policy was also raised by the MLC and he demanded promotion of cashew plantation.
