Mangalore: Almost all the schools and colleges celebrated Teacher’s Day in the city. The day was rather a testing day for teachers, as they were the centre of attraction, performing programmes such as dance, singing. There were competitions too for teachers.

Besides, students also staged cultural programmes for the teachers.

In St. Agnes School for special children, the members of Parent Teacher’s Association took part in Teacher’s day celebration.
