Mangaluru: A 28-year-old man who fell from first floor of a building near Kumbla in Kerala on Friday, March 11 had a miraculous escape from death.
The fall was such that an iron rod had gored through his neck. With the rod pierced through his neck, Viplov Burman was rushed to A J Hospital.

However, with the medical team plunging into action and Burman being operated on emergency basis, the rod was successfully removed, cutting the neck muscles. The muscles were sutured after giving thorough wash.

The doctors said that the patient is comfortable and recovering well.
