Ullal: A 35-year-old man was killed in a Car-scooter collision near Amblamogaru in Konaje station limits on Saturday, March 12.

Balakrishna Poojary, a resident of Kabekodi is the deceased.

The incident occurred when Balakrishna who works at Hotel Ganesh in Kuthar was on his way to give meals for the labourers. It is learnt that when he reached Adu junction, a speeding Alto car rammed into his scooter. He was rushed to hospital with severe injuries but he died on  the way.

Balakrishna was working in his sister’s hotel for the last two years.

He is survived by two daughters, wife, mother, four sisters and a brother.

A case has been registered at Konaje police station.

Balakrishna’s younger brother’s wedding was supposed to held on April 29. Now with the sudden demise of one of Balakrishna, the family is in shock.
