Mangalore :District Members of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) held a protest here in the city on Sunday March 2, against Salman Khurshid’s statement.

BJP workers, including large number of its minority cell members, burnt Congress leader Salman Khurshid effigy as a protest against his derogatory comments against BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi.

On Wednesday, the Congress leader had called BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi impotent.

“Narendra Modi is a leader and using such words against our leader is not appropriate,” said Pratapa Simha, district president, BJP.
