Installation ceremony of Rotary Mangalore held

Mangalore: New Office Bearers of 2013-14 of the Rotary Club was installed and introduced yesterday at Hotel Mothi-Mahal International here in Mangalore.

Rtn. Oswald Dsilva took over as the President of Rotaery Club Of Mangalore for the year 2013-14 on 4.7.2013 at Hotel Moti Mahal, Mangalore.  Past District Governor Rtn Suryaprakash Bhat addressed the gathering.  He stressed on how Rotarians should reach out to the needy and involve themselves to Change Lives.  With humorous anecdotes he enthralled the gathering and gave examples how one could do good to the least of the society.  He emphasized that every individual should learn the art giving and to be generous.  He mentioned about the RI President Ron Burtons theme” Engage Rotary and Change Lives”.

    Clubs weekly bulletin “Rotalore” was released by the Assistant Governor Rtn. Dr. Arvind Bhat.  He felicitated the Board members and wished them a successful Rotary year ahead.
Immediate Past District Governor Dr. Devdas Rai, Past District Governor Rtn U Vishwanath Mallya, Past District Governor Rtn. Krishna Shetty Presidents and Secretaries of the various Rotary Clubs of the City were also present.
    President Rtn Oswald D’silva delivered the acceptance speech.  Rtn. Madhav Suvarna welcomed and Rtn. M Venkatesh Pai proposed the vote of thanks.
