Indira Education Trust College Celebrates Graduation Day

Mangaluru:, Indira Education Trust college in Mangalore celebrated their Graduation day at Milagres Hall Complex, Hampankatta, Mangalore 0n 30 April 2024.

The ceremony commenced by the grand procession of graduates along with the Chief guest and Guest of Honour.

Pavithra Poojary Asst. Lecturer, Indira college of Nursing, welcomed guests, parents, students and Faculty members. 

Dr Jacintha D’Souza, DM, DA, DNM, District Medical officer, District Surgeon was the Chief Guest. Usha Mukkund Bhandari, Asst Director of Nursing, Director Medical Education, Bangalore and Dr Vaishali, Chair person, Board of studies, Member of Academic Council, RGUHS, Bangalore was the Guest of Honour. Mr. Saji P R, PRO of Indira Educational Trust. Dr Syed Nizamuddin, Chairman and Managing director of Indira Education Trust were present.

Other dignitaries on the Dias included Dr Greesha Jose, Principal of the Nursing Science College, Remya S. Nair, Vice Principal of Indira College of Allied and Health Sciences and Dr N. Geoviya, George(PT), Principal in charge of Physiotherapy college. 

During the event, each concerned Principal, vice principal and principal in charge read annual report of the colleges. Dr Jacintha D’Souza, the chief guest, shared her wisdom about Health Care professions. 

Colleges awarded certification to the graduating students of M.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing. Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, while GNM and Paramedical Sciences students received diplomas and certificates.

Highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards for the various rank holders under the RGHUS by the Dr Syed Nizamuddin.

The ceremony was followed by the various cultural events by the students. 

As the day concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Saniya Praveen, Asst Lecturer of physiotherapy, the graduates embarked on the new journey, carrying with them the values of service, excellence and compassion in stilled in them at Indira College.
