India needs a leader, not a Prince: Actress Shruti

Mangalore: BJP’s star campaigner, actress Shruti has said that   even the lay man in the remote villages of the nation is  aware of the Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

She was addressing press persons at the BJP Election Office  in the city on Monday March 31. “Most people are under the impression that only the  affluent sections are favouring Modi, but in reality   the rural masses know much about Modi than the city people,” she said.

“Our nation does not want a Prince, but a leader who can lead the nation  effectively. Modi has such a capability. The people of the nation want to see change and there is no doubt that Modi would become the Prime Minister,” Shruti said.

She also stated that BJP  candidate from Dakshina Kannada Nalin Kumar Kateel will win  with  a record margin of votes this time.

Sulochana Bhat, State President of BJP Mahila Morcha, Pratap Simha Nayak, District BJP President, former MLA Krishna Palemar, Diwaker Samani and others were present.
