Moodbidri : Moodbidri Police have on July 13 seized nearly 80 kg beef stocked in a house at Neeralke in Govugudde of Kallabettu village. Two cows found tied  in the area were also seized.

Police raided the place following a tip off that cattle was being butchered unauthorisedly in the house of a person named Mansoor since some time. However, Mansoor  succeeded in giving the cops a slip.

A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
