Beltangady :The cops seized a pick-up truck that was illegally transporting cattle near Didupe, here on October 28 and arrested 4 persons who were in the truck.

The arrested has been identified as twenty-four-year-old Farouq Jamaluddin, nineteen-year-old Umarul Farouq and twenty-one-year-old Abdul Salam, all residents of Kajoor, near her and nineteen-year-old Shakeer, resident of Padeguttu in Mittabagilu.

The policemen led by sub-inspector Prakash Devadiga intercepted a pick up truck that was laden with 2 buffaloes who were taking it to an illegal abattoir located nearby Didupe.
