Manjanady : A house was damaged due to wall collapse here at Ansar Nagar in  Manjanady gram panchayath limits on Sunday July 13 morning. The house belongs to late Sayyed.

Six members of the family were injured in the incident.  The family members who were trapped inside the house were rescued by relatives and neighbours.

Zilla Panchayath member N S Kareem, Taluk Panchayath member Nekkare Bava and  Manjanady Gram Panchayat President Jacintha Pramila D’Souza visited the house.

The loss has been estimated at Rs 2 lakh.
