Bantwal :Former deputy chief minister K.S.Eshwarappa has stressed the need for the Hindus to unite by setting aside caste related disparities to fight against the continuous assault on Hindu religion and those striving to protect the religion.

He was speaking as a chief guest at a religious programme held on Friday May 2 in connection with the Punar Pratishta Kalashibhisheka and Nemotsava of Koila Pilkajeguttu Shree Pilichamundi, Jumaadi Bunta, Mahisandaya, Kodamanittaya nad Parivara Daivagala Dharmachavadi Shree Dharma Daivas.
Eshwarappa further said religious ceremonies and programmes would also come to the aid of Hindu dharma whenever it is in trouble.
Dr Prabhaker Bhat Kalladka, Dakshina Prantha Sanchalak of RSS presided over the function. Former ministers Kota Srinivas Poojari, Nagaraj Shetty, State BC Commission Member M Tungappa Bangera, former TP Vice President Purusha N Salian, Korgappa Poojari, Vasanthi, Purushottam Anchan, Prakash Anchan and Shekhar Anchan of the Kshetra were present among others.
