Hemaja murder case reopened

Kasargod: The Hemaja murder case has been reopened after  nearly four and half years of wait.  The Kannur City Police had recently launched a search operation for Hemaja’s husband CK Shashidaran who  is facing murder charges. He is missing  since  September 5, 2009.

CK Shashidaran, a resident of Uruvachhal of Kannur District had taken his wife in a Maruti van to Tallappu in Pallikula village of Kannur District on the fateful day. There he had allegedly hacked Hemaja to death along with his friend. Thereafter, they had abandoned the body near Uruvachal Spinning Mill and absconded.
