Mrs. UAE International 2024: A Celebration of Elegance and Empowerment
Dubai, the glittering gem of the United Arab Emirates, witnessed a spectacular event that blended grace, talent, and social responsibility. The Mrs. UAE International 2024 – Season 5, organized by Being Muskaan Events and founded by the visionary Meena Asrani, unfolded with grandeur and purpose. Let’s delve into the highlights of this remarkable evening.
The grand affair held on April 21 at the Dubai Downtown was graced by luminaries, including Her Excellency Sheikha Fatima Bint Hasher Bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum, Royal Dignitaries, and prominent personalities from Dubai’s thriving industry. Among them was Her Excellency Laila Rahhal and Romain Gerardin-Fresse—a convergence of elegance and influence.
Out of over 1000 entries, 18 exceptional women emerged as finalists in both the Gold and Platinum categories following talent rounds, presentations on individual social responsibility, and engaging Q&A sessions.
Gwynne Shiboni DSouza: A Star Shines
Hailing from Mangalore, the radiant Gwynne Shiboni DSouza secured the 2nd runner-up position in the Gold category. But that wasn’t all—she also clinched the coveted title of Mrs. Best Personality 2024.
In the talent round, Gwynne mesmerized the audience with a fusion dance—a delightful blend of Bollywood and Belly Dance. Her graceful movements spoke volumes about her passion and dedication.
For the presentation round, Gwynne chose a topic close to her heart: Individual Social Responsibility in Sustainable Clothing. Her eloquence and commitment resonated with the audience, emphasizing the need for conscious fashion choices.
The Journey to the Crown
Before the spotlight, there were two and a half intense days of training and grooming. Being Muskaan Events orchestrated sessions on fitness, makeup, photography, self-defense, choreography, meditation, health, nutrition, and etiquette. These sessions transformed the contestants into confident and poised women ready to conquer the stage.
Gwynne’s Story
Gwynne’s journey in the UAE began in 2017 when she pursued her master’s degree—an MBA in Business Operations and Supply Chain Management from Middlesex University, Dubai. Currently, she excels as a procurement professional in the automotive sector.
But her heart beats to the rhythm of dance. From Bharatanatyam during her school days to the elegance of Ballroom Dance, Gwynne’s passion knows no bounds.
