Mangaluru: Close on the heels of MLA and Minister for Health U T Khader’s name making rounds in Ullal Dargah Administrative Committee election row and with Ullal region seeing gruesome incidents of attacks and counter attacks between people from two religions, on Friday a shameful incident of miscreants desecrating the grave of Khader’s parents has come to light.

The miscreants have destroyed the tiles laid on the ‘Qabr’ (grave) of his parents UT Fareed and UT Naseema Fareed.

However, a majority feel that it is the Ullal Dargah row, which has irked many leading some miscreants to this manifest their anger through this act.

The Dargah administrative committee election issue had created two factions. On Friday, the Wakf Official had resorted to locking and sealing the committee office when confusions cropped up following election of a president by the members of the Jamat and election of another member as the President by the Qazi.

Soon, a section had alleged that U T Khader was fueling confusion after joining hands with the local SSF members.

This may have led to the episode of desecration of the grave of Khader’s parents, say locals.
