Mangaluru: Free Wi-Fi facility has been enabled at the Central Railway Station here in the city. This has been done as an initiative to digitize important railway stations in the country in association with Railtel Corporation, a public sector undertaking under railway ministry to provide high speed Wi-Fi facility to railway stations.

The facility will be enabled at 30 stations in the country including Mumbai Central, Dadar, Kalyan, Lokamanya Tilak, Tirupathi, Ernakulam Junction, Visakhapatnam and a few more. An official announcement will be made soon.

The Wi-Fi facility in Mangaluru Central Railway Station can be accessed in a radius of 50 metres. It is learnt that many railway station all over India are in the process of getting Wi-Fi facility.
