Mangalore:Mr.Francis Cutinho was unanimously elected as the new president and Alwyn Patrao as the vice-president of Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank, among the 13 directors who were recently elected in the bank elections.
The elections were held at the Head office of the Bank in the city on Thursday, September 19.
It was the happy moment to all the supporters of Francis Cutinho as they offered him garland soon after he was elected as the president. Firecrackers also marked the victory celebrations.
Speaking to media persons after being elected, Francis Cutinho thanked all the directors for electing him as the president. “During the five years of my term, I will undertake development works for the bank taking into consideration the openions of all the directors.”
On the occasion, a cake was cut to celebrate Francis Cutinho’s 48th birthday.
Newly-elected directors Dolphy Patrao, Dennis D’Souza, Jerald Jude D’Silva, Andrew D’Souza, Melwyn Clifford D’Souza, Dr Veronica Judith Pinto, Dr Edward Nazareth, Edmunk Frank, Adolphus Cutinha, Shalet Pinto, general manager Joseph Quadras, returning officer Maheshwarappa were present at the occasion.
