Udupi : “Determination, Dedication and Discipline is the formula for success” said Padma Sri Syed Mujtaba Hussain Kirmani former  India Wicket Keeper.  He was speaking after the inauguration of the cricket pitch of the Silas International School,  at Ambagilu on Monday May 19, 2014.

Syed Kiramni said that, it is the responsibility of parents to allow their children to choose their area of interest.  Parents and teachers play a very important role in nurturing their kids, while a coach can help the children to concentrate on achieving his goal through mind, heart and soul.

He advised the students against taking short cuts to achieving success. He called upon students to be sincere to achieve the set goals.  A successful student is always a winner and a good citizen of India, he added. 

Kirmani motivated the students to make the nation proud through their  hard work. Real champions come from the schools, so it is the responsibility of the students to make their parents, teachers and school feel proud. He suggested that curricular and extracurricular activities should go hand in hand.
