Moodbidri : A flex banner put up in the town by Councilor and entrepreneur Anil Lobo  has  been found garlanded with slippers by some miscreants, on September 30, Monday.

The flex banner   near the Vidyagiri College was put up by  Lobo to greet people on the occasion of Harvest Festival. The flex has the portraits of Youth Services and Fisheries Minister Abhayachandra Jain and Anil Lobo. The portrait of Lobo is found garlanded with slippers.

There  is a strong belief among members of the general public that some unlawful elements had resorted to such an act with an intention of disrupting communal harmony.
