Mangaluru: Proud moment for Mangaloreans as Kundapur sub-divisional DySP M Manjunath Shetty, Mangaluru’s Bunder police SI Shantharam, Ullal police SI Bharati, Bajpe police constable Mohammed and reserve police inspector Sachin Lawrence have bagged the prestigious Chief Minister’s gold medal this year.

In all, 105 people have been selected for the medals this year.

The award consisting of a certificate, Rs 5,000 and a gold medal will be presented by chief minister Siddaramaiah during the Police Flag Day celebrations on April 2.
