Mangalore: The first phase of the Pulse Polio drive that was initiated on Sunday January 19 around the district has a target to administrate 1, 68,336 children.

The administration had set up nearly 921 Pulse Polio booths across the district as part of the Pulse Polio drive under the National Pulse Polio Program 2014 wherein drops were administered to children below five years of age.

Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim, who visited Wenlock Hospital in the city, administered Pulse Polio drop to children at the hospital.
