Mangalore:  A fire mishap has been reported from a shop at MG Road in the city on March 23, Sunday morning.

The fire was noticed in the shop located close by Hotel Deepa Comforts. The Fire Service Department was immediately informed and the fire tender vehicles which rushed to the spot, extinguished the fire.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that a short circuit was the reason for the fire.
