Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a coolie worker committed suicide consuming poison at Periya, Bekal.

The deceased has been identified as Narkalan (62).

He was admitted to the district hospital in a critical condition, but the treatment didn’t help him.

Sources said that he was in deep financial problem which forced him to take the extreme step.

A case has been registered regarding the same at Bekal police station.
