Mangaluru: As announced earlier, after 16 years, the Y2K batch of NMPT English Medium School will be gathering together under NMPT Y2K BATCH RELIVE 2016 in Panambur, Mangaluru on 14th and 15th May 2016. The event will re-kindle and strengthen the bond that existed between the teachers and non-teaching staff and Y2K batch students.

An organizing team consisting of some of Y2K batch students based in Mangaluru, Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi has been successful in getting in touch with about 88 batch students, thank to WhatsApp.
The organizing team has been successful in contacting the teachers who have now retired from the services of the school.
On 14th May, the batch along with teaching and non-teaching staff, will meet at NMPT training hall at 9AM. The day will be full of events like group photo session, talk by teachers and students, honoring the teachers and non-teaching staff and games. To give the event a human touch, the organizing team has decided to donate part of the money collected from the batch mates for the cause of children suffering from Cancer in KMC hospital, Mangaluru.
On 15th May, the batch mates along with their family members will go on a picnic.
While the preparations for the events are underway, the organizing team and Y2K batch students are excited and eagerly looking forward for this event that is taking place after 16 years.
