Mangalore: An
employee of car showroom located at Kankanady filed a written complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Mangalore on Thursday against his employer “for sacking him from the job for not fault of his and not allowing to work anywhere else.”
According to the complaint, Rajesh Rai, who was working as a driver in the car showroom since a year informed that during the test drive on September 26, the tyre of the car blew up. The complaint stated the driver as usual was assisting the customer, who took the car for test drive.
However, employer abused the driver and sacked him from the job. He also alleged that owner had threatened of a critical outcome if he showed up at the showroom again,” the complaint further stated.
Rajesh Rai told newskarnataka.com, that after I was made to quit the job. I applied for a job as driver in another car showroom. When I was about to get the job there, the owner called the car showroom and saw that I should not be recruited.
Rai who is unemployed, has sought the support of Human Rights Federation, from the city.
