Eleven thousand vacancies are to be filled, UT Khader

Bangalore :Health Minister UT Khader said that appointment to 11 thousand vacancies  have been approved by the health department. They would be filled step by step, he said.

Speaking to the reporters he said that it is difficult to fill all the posts at one time. Recruitment will be done twice a year. Now there are 300 MBBS doctors, 1755 specialist doctors, 2000 nurses, 4000 D Group employees and 3 thousand junior assistant post are to be filled.

Asha workers will be given Rs.2000 as an incentive. In order to exchange information quickly mobiles will be given to the Asha workers.

The spread of infectious diseases will be controlled otherwise strict action will be taken on officers who failed to do their duties properly.

Centre has passed 150 ambulances to the state which will be available soon. Service of 700 ambulances has already been provided in the state.
