Kasargod: A elderly man lost life and another man suffered injuries in a lorry-car collision near Bekal Padannakad tollbooth here on April 25.
The deceased is identified as Damodara(65) from Kozhikode. Ibrahim Khaleel(38) suffered injuries in the mishap and was shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

The incident occurred when the duo was heading to Kozhikode. The lorry carrying gas cylinders rammed into their car. Khaleel was driving when the mishap took place. Khaleel is a wood mill owner and Damodara had come to repair a machine in the mill. After repairing, Khaleel was on his way to drop Damodara to Kozhikode.

Bekal police have registered a case in this regard.
