Mangalore:Dayanand K, Additional DC has informed that the economic census undertaken by the Government of India, will this time be held in November.

Speaking at a district level meeting on October 11, Friday, he said  the enumerators will be trained for the census and  that the census works will conclude by November end. The enumerators will gather information about the business undertaken by the family members.

Officials informed at the  meeting informed that one enumerator will be appointed to three blocks and one supervisor for six blocks. A total of 23  officers, 1309 enumerators and 653 supervisors will be appointed, officials informed.
