Bantwal :Man’s greediness has  led to destruction of environment giving rise to various problems. The only solution to this is to sensitize the students  on this grave issue, said DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai.

He was speaking as a chief guest at the inaugural of an Eco Club name ‘Spoorthi’  at Anugraha Women’s PU College  near Kalladka here on Saturday July 12.
The Eco Club activities were kick-started by the Minister by planting a sapling in the school compound.

KS Abdulla, Member of Karaya Gram Panchayat was the chief guest. Yasin Baig, Correspondent of the College presided over the function.

Jyothiratna, Principal, welcomed the gathering. Nazeemunnisa, Member of Green Squad proposed the vote of thanks. Afra Mehtab, Secretary compered the programme.
