Mangalore:The DYFI Mangalore unit staged a protest in front of the Dc office urging the govt. to implement even fares in all the restaurants as a measure to curb the increasing rates.
Addressing the protesters, the district president of DYFI, Muneer Katipalla said that in the various restaurants there is un-evenness in the fares of the food items. The hotels have been increasing the food fares as per their standards which has affected the common man badly. To curb this practice the govt. has to intervene and implement even fares as in Kerala and Tamilnadu and the people will be largely benefitted out of it.
DYFI vice-president Mahabala Shetty, secretary Dayanand T, Seetharam shetty and others were present at the occasion.
